MCM: Multi Cultural Ministry

The Multi-Cultural Ministry (MCM) of Sacred Heart Church represents the richly divers cultural composition of our parish, practicing the Catholic faith expressed in various traditions.  It is a non partisan, non profit organization created to serve the interest of our Church.

MCM Objectives:

Encourage parishioners to practice in parish and community activities.  Share their time, talents, treasure and religious traditions/ cultures/ practices from their native lands to help enhance individual spirituality and servant leadership.

Organize activities that will develop unity, respect, cooperation, support and harmony among parishioners of different cultures.  

MCM monthly events.

Our Mother of Perpetual Help Novena: Every Wednesday in the Convent Chapel at 7:30 pm

MCM Monthly Meeting: Every 2nd Saturday of the month in the Convent 6:45 pm (we welcome all)

Nursing Home Visits: Every 3rd Sunday at 2:30 pm on a quarterly basis. Many senior citizens are not visited often by family.  We visit them, give communion, share Bible Readings sing songs.

MCM Choir: Every Thursday at 7:30pm and Saturday at 4:30pm

Wellness Program & Nutrition Talks: Every last Saturday of the month, we exercise together through dancing and discuss nutrition, and healthy habits.

Alliance of Two Hearts Reparation Vigil: Annually on First Friday through Saturday in December.  Begins Friday evening at 7:00 pm and concludes Saturday at 3:00 am

Simbang Gabi: One night of this 9 day Novena of this Filipino Tradition is celebrated at our parish.  The other days of the Novena is held at nearby parishes.

MCM is for everyone.  If you desire to become "servants of God through service to HIS people," we encourage you to join our ministry.  Please bring your ideas and culture traditions with you.  To join, simply come to a monthly meeting.  Meetings announced in the Weekly Bulletin.
