Much like musicians and athletes, who cultivate their gifts by learning how to use them better and practicing more, we too can do the same with any gift God has given to us. We should learn not only more about stewardship and what it is, but also how to better use the gifts that God has given us. In other words, we must make our talents fruitful for others by putting them into practice. We must cultivate them responsibly.

We can do that by:

• Making time to study the Word of God and Catholic books, articles and websites.
• Participating in faith-enrichment activities in our parish.
• Developing our qualities as a way to help our communities to better glorify God for the many blessings he has poured out on us.
