Current Events at Sacred Heart

What's Going on at Sacred Heart:

Updated April 29, 2020 - At Sacred Heart Church, as we announce live streamed "events" please remember that we are asking you to join us virtually, and spiritually only. In accordance with the State, Local and Episcopal guidelines we are not able to gather more than the minimum necessary ministers for any liturgy, and observe strict social distancing and transmission prevention. Therefore, we will be holding the May crowning as the weather permits in private, whether it is outside or inside, parishioners will not be congregating. Flowers in front of the Blessed Virgin side altar in the sanctuary, as well as a possible additional Blessed Mother visible within the live stream for the month of May will be arranged. A small terra cotta vase will be placed at the outside Marian Statue on Sunday afternoon, for flowers that parishioners may choose to leave in honor of Our Lady. The entire month of May is dedicated to our Blessed Mother. Please do not all rush to church on any particular day. Once again all gatherings are strictly discouraged, and we are asking all to continue to obey the strict stay-at-home orders. Be Safe.

2020 Annual Appeal

Through your support of the Annual Appeal, the Archdiocese of Newark is able to form the next generation of leaders, to welcome those on the margins, and finally to provide the resources so that our parishes can flourish. Your gift to the Annual Appeal is and always will be used for the reasons intended, to serve the mission of the church and nothing more.

There are many ways to make a gift to the annual appeal including our website 2020 Annual Appeal. There you can also see the areas your gift will support and learn more about our programs and ministries.
